Join us in celebrating the seventh annual Asteroid Day on June 30, 2021!
Asteroid Day is a chance to explore and learn more about the space rocks in our solar system, from how they were key in the formation of our solar system to the significance of asteroid impacts on Earth. Asteroid Day commemorates the Tunguska event, the largest asteroid impact recorded, where an asteroid exploded over Siberia and leveled thousands of trees in 1908.
Here at Unistellar, we are celebrating Asteroid Day with an entire month of asteroid related activities! Check out our calendar, get involved in asteroid citizen science with our partner the SETI Institute, and take a look at our asteroid resources below!
And of course, don’t forget to visit AsteroidDay.org to discover and celebrate Asteroid Day!
